Exult Inc.: The Irvine provider of Web-based human resources services reported a net loss of $22.3 million, or 24 cents a share, for the first quarter, compared with a net loss of $10.9 million, or $1.16 a share, a year ago. Revenue rose to $43.5 million from $5.6 million.
