El Toro Test Delay
Flights set for Friday to test navigation equipment at the closed El Toro Marine base were postponed until Thursday.
The flights were to be conducted by the Federal Aviation Administration using a leased Lear jet out of Sacramento, which was unavailable Friday, FAA officials said.
The flights will test repairs to a ground navigation aid at the base. The pilot will conduct the tests from the air and isn’t expected to land.
