1 Killed, 2 Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash
A driver who sideswiped an oncoming car in Calabasas before crashing head-on into a minivan Friday evening has died, officials said Saturday.
Stuart Rubin, 35, was pronounced dead late Friday at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, where he was taken by helicopter after the 6:30 p.m. three-vehicle crash on Las Virgenes Canyon Road near Lost Hills Road.
The minivan’s driver and a passenger, whose names were not released, also were critically injured, sheriff’s officials said.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation Saturday.
