Man Pleads Guilty to Molesting Children
A man who pleaded guilty to committing several acts of sexual molestation against children as a volunteer for a Huntington Beach youth basketball league will eventually be deported to his native Mexico, a prosecutor said Wednesday.
Juan Guzman, 25, pleaded guilty to all charges against him on the day trial was set to begin last week, according to Orange County Deputy Dist. Atty. Matt Murphy.
A sentencing date was set for Aug. 29.
Once Guzman has served his sentence, Murphy said, he will be returned to Mexico by the Immigration and Naturalization Service and will be barred from returning to the United States.
