In Brief

* * * Tha Dogg Pound, "Death Row Records Presents: Tha Dogg Pound: 2002," Death Row. The vocals to Tha Dogg Pound's second album for Death Row sound surprisingly fresh despite being recorded at least three years ago, a testament to their talent and vision. This 16-cut collection features Daz Dillinger and Kurupt teaming with usual suspects Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg and Soopafly, as well as Xzibit and 2Pac. The production occasionally lacks the usual Dogg Pound flair, but the album still barks ferociously.

Albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor), two stars (fair), three stars (good) and four stars (excellent). The albums are already released unless otherwise noted.
