Update--After clinching the league’s best record, home-court advantage as long as they’re in the playoffs, and completing the first undefeated regular-season home schedule in WNBA history, what is left for the Sparks to play for tonight in Utah and Tuesday in Portland? In a word, momentum. “We have to stay focused,” DeLisha Milton said. “With all the winning we’ve done, we don’t want to lean back on our heels in any way. We have to stay with an aggressive mentality going into the playoffs.” Milton will have to keep her left thumb--injured in Saturday’s 65-54 victory over Houston, the team’s 18th consecutive win--wrapped up these last two games. Tamecka Dixon, who had a bad right heel before Saturday’s game and slightly sprained her left ankle during the game, may play sparingly tonight if at all. If they needed any other motivation, the Sparks can remind themselves that Utah has beaten them at the end of the 1999 and 2000 seasons, sending Los Angeles into the playoffs with a bad feeling. The Starzz have earned their first postseason bid and are in a three-way battle with Sacramento and Houston for second place. Whichever team wins will have home-court advantage in the first round. The Starzz usually pay so much defensive attention to Lisa Leslie, Milton and Latasha Byears, they some times forget about Ukari Figgs. The Spark point guard has averaged 12.5 points and four assists in the two previous meetings
