Former Employee Denies Embezzlement Charge
A former employee pleaded not guilty Monday to a charge of embezzling more than $250,000 from a Simi Valley furniture manufacturer.
Jaqulyn Ciraulo, 30, was charged with grand theft this month after investigators uncovered evidence allegedly showing she siphoned funds from Wambold Furniture between January 1997 and December 2000, prosecutors said. The Simi Valley resident was the accounts-payable supervisor at the time.
At the arraignment Monday in Ventura County Superior Court, a status hearing was set for Sept. 12
