Water District Offers Info Tour for Residents

The city water district is offering an education day Sept. 22 to explain to residents where their water comes from and how it reaches them.
Guests will take a chartered bus to the Diemer Water Filtration Plant, then to its Richfield Road Plant and the ground water recharging operation at the Santa Ana River.
After lunch, which is free, guests will view reservoirs and other key facilities.
The tour begins at 8 a.m. at the district headquarters, 4622 Plumosa Drive.
It is limited to the first 44 people who arrive.
