Land Group to Discuss Preservation Issues
The president of Citizens for the Carpinteria Bluffs will speak at the next meeting of Ventura Citizens for Hillside Preservation on Friday.
Ted Rhodes will discuss his group’s efforts in raising nearly $5 million for public purchase of the ocean-view property.
Members of the Ventura group also will discuss a proposed city ordinance for the November ballot that aims to preserve the 5,000 acres of rugged hillside bordering Ventura between City Hall and Kimball Road.
