Auto Mall Dealers Give $200,000 to Schools

Dealers at the Thousand Oaks Auto Mall have donated $200,000 to Conejo Valley schools for books and other school equipment.
The dealerships handed out donations last week for the third year in a row. Auto mall dealers gave $100,000 in 1999 and 2000 but decided to double the amount this year.
The dealerships also agreed to pay employees their regular hourly wage to volunteer at local elementary schools.
