Nuclear-Capable Missile Called ‘Flawless’ in Test
From Times Wire Reports
India tested an improved version of its nuclear-capable, surface-to-surface Prithvi missile from a remote testing center off its eastern coast, the defense ministry said.
The improved version of the medium-range missile was fired over the Bay of Bengal from India’s testing range at Chandipur, 750 miles southeast of New Delhi, said spokesman P.K. Bandopadhyaya.
“The test was flawless and the missile impacted at the intended target point accurately,” he said.
