Hahn Begins 3-Week Winter Vacation

Mayor James K. Hahn spent Friday visiting with author Ray Bradbury and schoolchildren before beginning a three-week vacation.
“The mayor will be spending time with his kids--who will be out of school for the Christmas break--and enjoying the holidays with his mother and the rest of his family,” said spokeswoman Julie Wong.
The City Council will be in session next week, then will take off the last two weeks of the year.
The mayor will be back at work the week of Jan. 7.
