City Land May House School District Projects
From Times Staff Reports
The Los Angeles City Council on Wednesday agreed to set up a task force to identify city property that could be used for school district projects.
Officials say they hope to help the Los Angeles Unified School District find more classroom space by creating joint-use facilities on city land.
The task force will consist of representatives from city agencies as well as the Department of Water and Power, the Los Angeles Community College District and the school district.
It will be expected to report back in 90 days.
