Mary Clark, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Monroe Clark of Yorba Linda, exchanged vows with Werner Raschdorf, son of Mr. and Mrs. Horst Raschdorf of Kinnelon, N.J. They were married at the Church of the Monasterio de Santa Maria de Pedralbes in Barcelona, Spain, on Sept. 29. A reception followed at the Hotel Majestic there.
The couple live in St. Louis.

South Shores Church at Monarch Beach was the setting for the wedding of Danielle Elisa Shedd and Mark Edmund Slymen. A reception followed at the Four Seasons in Newport Beach.
The bride is the daughter of Steven and Terri Shedd of Irvine. She graduated from Santa Margarita High and the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in family studies and human resources and earned her teaching credential at Concordia University. She is a teacher in Santa Ana.
The groom is the son of Ed and Nita Slymen of Mission Viejo. He graduated from Mission Viejo High and the University of Oregon with a bachelor’s degree in management and finance and a master’s degree in business administration. He is employed in a family business in Laguna Beach.
The couple honeymooned in Bora Bora and Moorea and live in Aliso Viejo.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Michelle and Ronald Blankenship of Anaheim. She graduated from USC with a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in entrepreneurship. She operates her business, Heaven’s Door.
The groom is the son of Cathy and Larry Murdie of Irvine. He will graduate from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in civil engineering.
A July 5 wedding is planned.
