STUDIES
* USC researchers need stroke patients for a study on the recovery of arm function. Participants must have had a stroke within the last six months, be otherwise medically stable and have partial movements in the weaker arm and hand. (323) 442-1196.
* Wellness Community, along with researchers from UC San Francisco and Stanford University, is comparing the effectiveness of Internet and face-to-face support groups with its educational programs. The study, which will last five months, needs breast cancer patients with stage 1, 2 or 3 cancer.
