Serbian Party Expels Karadzic, Other Suspects

The Serbian Democratic Party of Bosnia-Herzegovina’s Republika Srpska expelled its founder, Radovan Karadzic, and all other war crimes suspects in a drive to reform its ultranationalist image.
Observers in Bosnia’s Muslim-Croat Federation dismissed the move as a superficial bid to placate the West, which is putting pressure on the Bosnian Serb entity to hand over war crimes fugitives and cooperate with its former wartime foes.
