President Look-Alike Contest Runs Sunday

Do you look like Ronald Reagan? Bill Clinton? Do orchestras play “Hail to the Chief” when you enter a room?

If so, you could win a trip to Washington courtesy of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, which will host a presidential look-alike contest Sunday.

The contest is part of the library’s second annual Reagan Retrospective Classic Car show. The free outdoor event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and celebrates the 90th birthday of the former president. Reagan was born on Feb. 6, 1911.

Last year’s car show drew 3,500 people, organizers said.

Nearly 100 vehicles will be on display, including a 1909 Ford Model T-Speedster, a rare 1966 Aston Martin DB6 and two 1940 Ford coupes.

Presidential look-alikes can register Sunday, officials said.

They will gather at 1 p.m. so visitors can vote for their favorite.

The top prize is a seven-day trip for two to the nation’s capital.

The library is at 40 Presidential Drive in Simi Valley.

For more information or to register in the look-alike contest, call 522-2977.

Cost to view the inside of the museum is $5 for general admission, $3 for seniors 62 and over; children age 15 and under are admitted free.
