A 4-year-old Huntington Beach boy drowned Sunday in a neighbor’s swimming pool.
Cylar Moss had been playing in his backyard about 1 p.m. Sunday when he apparently climbed over a fence into his neighbor’s yard on Thunderbird Circle and fell into the pool, according to police.
The boy’s mother went looking for him, peered over the fence and saw him floating face down in the neighbor’s pool.
The neighbor called 911. Paramedics and police officers rushed to the scene, but were unable to revive the boy.
He was pronounced dead at 2 p.m. at Huntington Beach Hospital.
