ValueClick Acquires Direct-Marketing Company

ValueClick Inc. in Westlake Village has acquired Z Media of Redwood City. Shareholders of Z Media received about 2.7-million shares of ValueClick common stock.
The merger is intended as a pooling of interests, the companies said. Z Media is an Internet direct-marketing company. ValueClick is an Internet advertising company.
