* Gerald F. Winters; Ex-CEO of Investment Firm
Gerald Fredrick Winters, a former chief executive officer, died Saturday in Ventura. He was 62.
He was born on May 14, 1938, in Iowa to Lester and Katherine Winters.
Winters had been the CEO for First Wilshire Investment Management, where he worked for 15 years.
For the past seven years, he and his wife, Iris, had lived in Santa Paula.
Winters enjoyed fishing expeditions with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife of 30 years, he is survived by a daughter, Sandy Alvarado of Duluth, Minn.; sons Gregory of Fontana and John of Union City, Calif.; mother Katherine Winters of Santa Paula; sister Ann Lanz; and 11 grandchildren.
Memorial services are scheduled at 1 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Santa Paula.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Winters’ name may be sent to St. Sebastian School, 325 E. Santa Barbara St., Santa Paula, CA 93060.
Arrangements are under the direction of Pierce Bros. Stetler Mortuary in Santa Paula.
