Lopez Won’t Testify in Combs’ Gun Trial

Jennifer Lopez said she will not take the stand at the weapons trial of a former boyfriend, rap mogul Sean “Puffy” Combs.
“As Sean will testify on his own behalf, he and his lawyers have decided at this time it is not necessary for me to testify,” the singer-actress said in a statement.
Combs, 31, and bodyguard Anthony “Wolf” Jones, 34, are charged with two counts of gun possession. A third suspect, Jamal “Shyne” Barrow, 21, is charged with three counts of attempted murder in a 1999 nightclub shooting.
