2 Gunmen Rob Bank of America Branch
VAN NUYS —
Two men robbed a Bank of America branch Tuesday, escaping with nearly $50,000, police said.
The robbers, who were carrying handguns, ordered customers and employees to the floor inside the bank in the 6500 block of Van Nuys Boulevard about 12:40 p.m., said Sgt. Jim Eicher of the LAPD’s Van Nuys Division.
No one was injured, Eicher said. No description of the men was immediately available.
