CEO of Craig, Citadel and Reading Resigns

* Scott Braly has resigned as chief executive of Los Angeles-based holding company Craig Corp. and affiliates Citadel Holding Corp. and Reading Entertainment Inc. less than three months after his appointment. Braly also resigned as a director of Reading Entertainment. No reason was given for his departure, but he will serve as a consultant to the companies. James Cotter, chairman of the three firms’ boards will resume his previous position as chief executive.

* Edward Zinser has been promoted to president and chief operating officer of Styleclick Inc., a Los Angeles-based e-commerce and Web development company. Zinser is a former executive of Internet Shopping Network and Walt Disney Co.

* Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. has named Mary Goss Robino as senior vice president, worldwide promotions. A former New Line Cinema promotions executive, she will be responsible for developing creative marketing and promotional partnerships and tie-ins related to all of MGM’s new theatrical releases.

* Veteran marketing, promotions and licensing executive Al Ovadia has been named executive vice president of Sony Pictures Consumer Products in Culver City. The appointment makes Ovadia the top-ranking executive for the division of Sony Pictures Entertainment that supervises film and television licensing and merchandising, along with worldwide licensed television promotions.

* Peter Arkley has been tapped to head the Southern California region of Aon Risk Services, the insurance brokerage arm of Aon Corp. Arkley will continue to serve as managing director of Aon’s construction practice for North America. He will be based in Los Angeles.

* Sanwa Bank California in Los Angeles has tapped senior banking executive Dick Rai as managing director of its equipment and leasing finance department, a new business that is part of its commercial banking division.

* Disney Online executives Dan Sherlock and Jodie Resnick have been promoted to vice president of marketing and vice president of entertainment, respectively, the company said. Disney Online is a division of Walt Disney Internet Group, which manages Burbank-based Walt Disney Co.-affiliated Web sites.

* Dick Clark Communications, the business communications unit of Burbank-based Dick Clark Productions, has tapped Patrick Maes as head of business development and named Carol Ellerbrock sales coordinator.

* Angelina Speare has been promoted to executive vice president, international operations and finance, at Warner Bros. Pictures. She had served as senior vice president, international operations and finance, since 1996.

* Danny Gampe has been named chief financial officer at LivHome, an in-home elder-care company. Gampe recently served as vice president of finance and chief financial officer at Digital Lava.

* Management Solutions Inc. has appointed John Cooney to the position of regional manager for the Los Angeles region. Cooney brings more than 20 years of recruiting and staffing experience.
