Parsons Taps 3 for Technology Unit
* Engineering and construction firm Parsons has appointed George Ball general manager of the newly formed international division of Parsons Infrastructure & Technology Group. Ball, a vice president of finance, will be responsible for the group’s business development and project execution in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America.
The Pasadena-based company also tapped Elizabeth Moore as general manager of engineering for its Infrastructure & Technology Group. Dan Amsden was named general manager of the pharmaceutical and clean industry division of the group.
* Pacific Sun Casual Furniture has appointed Nancy Sidoruk director of marketing. She recently served in marketing management positions at Honeywell International.
* Agribuys, a Torrance-based global supply chain manager for the food industry, said Rajesh Shah has joined the company as vice president, systems engineering and integration. He will be based in Agribuys’ Southern California office. Shah is a former principal in Computer Sciences Corp.’s consulting group.
* DES, a Los Angeles-based media technology solutions company, has promoted Vicky Warren from senior vice president and chief development officer to chief technology officer, senior vice president, product development. Before joining DES, Warren was director of technology at Disney TeleVentures.
