* Classical--The New West Symphony will host two shows featuring young musicians and soloists at the sixth annual Discovery Artists concert Jan. 19 at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center, 800 Hobson Way, and Jan. 20 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 Thousand Oaks Blvd. Musicians: Tiffany Chen, 12, piano, of Moorpark; Sara Jean Ford, 19, soprano, and Elise Goodman, 20, violin, both of Thousand Oaks; Justin Messina, 20, composer and piano, of Ventura; and Katrina Celeste Bobbs, 12, violin, of Granada Hills.
