Walker Digital Sued:

A company headed by Priceline.com Inc.’s founder and largest stockholder, Jay S. Walker, was accused of illegally failing to provide 60 days’ notice before laying off more than 100 workers in a suit by Connecticut Atty. Gen. Richard Blumenthal. The lawsuit against Stamford, Conn.-based Walker Digital Corp., filed in U.S. District Court in Hartford, seeks about $1 million in back pay plus compensation for benefits and interest for the workers laid off in November. Closely held Walker Digital denies the suit’s allegations.
