Frame Store Is Able to Offer Square Deals

SPECIAL TO THE TIMES

Most of us have family portraits, posters and artwork stashed away in drawers and closets waiting to be framed. Add to that the gifts received over the holidays that also need frames.

Now is the time to pack them all up and head to the Frame Club, which has offered consistently low prices and high-quality work through the years.

In business since 1982, owner Alana Crawford has employed three basic principles to keep prices at about 50% to 70% lower than many other framing stores: The business does all work in-house, deals with local suppliers and services to hold down shipping costs, and is in a low-rent area.

The wide range of framing needs that the Frame Club tackles includes posters, textiles, photos, oils, preservation and museum-quality artwork. Whether your tastes run to elaborate patterns in the molding or simple metal or plexiglass, it is all here.

Scanning the neatly organized wall displays of moldings and mattes can be mind-boggling, but Crawford is on hand to lend her expertise. You can play with the samples to your heart’s content.

Same-day service is available at no extra charge.
