Holiday Closings
Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The following schedule is in effect:
* County, state and federal offices will be closed.
* City offices will be closed in Anaheim, Brea, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Los Alamitos, Placentia, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, Santa Ana and Seal Beach. All others will be open.
* County, state and federal courthouses will be closed.
* County libraries, as well as city libraries in Anaheim, Buena Park and Mission Viejo, will be closed. City libraries in Fullerton, Newport Beach, Orange, Placentia and Yorba Linda will be open.
* Banks and savings and loans will be closed.
* Schools, including colleges and universities, will not hold classes, and school offices will be closed.
* Mail will not be delivered. Post offices will be closed, and mail deposited in mailboxes will be picked up according to the posted holiday schedule.
* Trash will be collected on the normal schedule.
* Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on the normal schedule.
* Metrolink trains will run on the normal schedule.
