Police Believe Same Robber Hit 3 Banks
The suspect in Tuesday’s robbery of a Bank of America branch on North State College Boulevard may be responsible for two other robberies at Anaheim banks this month, according to a statement released Wednesday by the Anaheim Police Department.
About 1 p.m. Tuesday a man presented a teller at the Bank of America at 1141 N. State College Blvd. a note demanding money. The robber did not display a weapon and left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Anaheim police believe the man is responsible for similar robberies at a Bank of America at State College Boulevard and Katella Avenue on Jan. 4 and another Bank of America at Harbor Boulevard and Chapman Avenue on Jan. 12.
Anaheim police have released a photograph of the suspect captured by security cameras during the most recent robbery and are requesting the public’s help in identifying and locating him.
The man is described as a Latino in his late teens or early 20s, about 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds.
