“Unity Through Diversity” is the theme for the 21st annual Orange County Black History Parade and Cultural Faire, to be held Feb. 3 in Santa Ana.

The event, billed as the largest of its kind in the county, will help kick off Black History Month festivities throughout the county. Its aim is to recognize and celebrate cultural differences.

Parade participants will wear historical and traditional garb and perform in marching bands, drill teams, equestrian units and groups of clowns. Boy and Girl Scouts also will participate.
