* PORTLAND STATE (4-11, 1-3) at CAL STATE NORTHRIDGE (10-7, 3-1), 7--Northridge, tied for second in the Big Sky Conference, is happy to be in the middle of a three-game home stand. The Matadors were 12-1 at the Matadome last season and are 5-0 there this season. Portland State nearly pulled off an upset at Northridge last season, losing, 79-78. Forward Anthony Lackey, who averages 14.4 points and 5.5 rebounds, is the only returning starter for the Vikings, who finished sixth in the Big Sky last season. Three Northridge players are among the Big Sky’s top four in scoring. Center Brian Heinle leads the conference, averaging 20.1 points.
