Hotel Prices, Occupancy Up in L.A. County

The most recent figures available on the hotel industry in Los Angeles County show modest year-over-year growth in both nightly hotel room prices and guest occupancy in November, according to PKF Consulting of Los Angeles, which tracks the region’s hospitality industry. Average nightly room prices rose by nearly $6, or 5%, to $122.84, while average monthly occupancy increased six percentage points to roughly 74%. November’s figures left year-to-date average room prices at $122.51, or 7% higher than a year ago, and occupancy rates near 78%, an increase of 4%.
