Halford to Head Irvine Co. Office Group

Bill Halford has been named president of the Irvine Co.’s new Office Group. Halford, who has been in charge of office property since 1997, will head the newly integrated office and industrial property groups. With the consolidation, Bob Williams, who had been president of the Industrial Group, will leave the company. David Patty has been appointed executive vice president for finance and administration for the Investment Properties Group. He previously headed finance and administration for apartment communities. Ron Keith, executive vice president for commercial property development for the Industrial Properties Group, will head construction and development of office and industrial properties. Keith Eyrich was appointed president of the Retail Group. He had been senior vice president of development for the retail group. Eyrich succeeds Rick Evans, who announced his decision to become a consultant.

* David Lohrey has joined TMEX Inc. in Newport Beach as president. Lohrey was founder and chief executive of Teleredeinc.com, an Internet telecommunications business. He was also managing partner with Lohmar International, a joint venture between Lohrey Industries and Marriott Corp.

* Joseph T. Schepers has been appointed vice president of investor relations at ICN Pharmaceuticals Inc. in Costa Mesa. Schepers had been director of investor relations at Novartis AG.

* Paula Moreira has joined New Horizons Computer Learning Centers Inc. in Santa Ana as vice president of e-learning. Previously, Moreira was vice president of content and editor in chief for LeapIt.com in Baltimore. Before that, she was director of e-business/product marketing for Sylvan Learning Systems Inc.’s Prometric division and has also held several positions with the education division of Novell Inc. In addition, Bonni Frazee, Ed Miller and Shelley Morris were appointed vice presidents. Frazee, who had been director of New Horizons University, is now vice president. Miller, formerly director of international franchise services, has been promoted to vice president of international business development and services. Morris, who had been regional director of strategic accounts for the company’s Corporate Education Solutions division, has been named vice president of strategic accounts.

* Debra Howell has been named city site manager of Cox Interactive Media’s Orange County Web site, https://www.OCnow.com. She was previously director of marketing and communications for Winfire Inc. in Newport Beach. Before that, Howell was director of marketing for Interplay Entertainment Corp. in Irvine.

* Daniel S. Rodman and Sean M. Sherlock have been elected partners in the Irvine law office of Snell & Wilmer. Rodman has been an associate since 1995, concentrating on product liability litigation. Sherlock, an associate since 1993, focuses on commercial litigation and environmental law.

* Michael Keddington has been appointed executive vice president of sales and marketing for Viking Components Inc. in Rancho Santa Margarita. Keddington was formerly senior vice president of sales and marketing for epicRealm, an Internet infrastructure services company.
