In another Sunset League game:

Fountain Valley 2, Marina 1--Junior Drew Tolman scored two goals, including the game-winner on a penalty kick with 10 minutes remaining for the visiting Barons (8-5-5, 2-3). J.T. Searles scored for Marina (1-4 in league).

In the Orange League:

No. 9 Brea Olinda 3, Western 0--Trevor Peters, Juan Guerrero and Chris Becher had goals for visiting Brea Olinda (20-1, 5-0). Goalie Kirk Pagenkopp made four saves to record his first shutout.

Valencia 2, Savanna 1--Sam Ayala and Leeray Ocampo scored second-half goals for the visiting Tigers (13-5-1, 4-1). Fidel Palacios scored with five minutes remaining for Savanna (5-7-5, 1-3-1).

In the Pacific Coast League:

University 1, Estancia 0-- Yohei Fukuda scored his 10th goal of the season for University (8-5-4, 3-0-1). Goalie Jason Johnson recorded his second league shutout.

In the Sea View League:

Aliso Niguel 3, Newport Harbor 2--Nick Spangenberg scored from 35 yards out off an assist from Andrew Melody in the 55th minute to break a 2-2 tie and for visiting Aliso Niguel (6-4-4, 1-0-3). Brock Schermerhorn and Matt Davey scored first-half goals for the Wolverines. Trey Meek scored twice in the first half and now has four goals and one assist in five games for Newport Harbor (3-4-4, 1-1-1).

In the South Coast League:

No. 1 Dana Hills 4, Mission Viejo 1--The first-place Dolphins (17-1-3, 5-0-1) got a goal and assist from Forrest Smith and goals from Sergio Rivera, Simon Offord and Matt DuHadway. Will Beard scored for Mission Viejo (7-8-1, 1-3-1).

No. 6 Capistrano Valley 2, San Clemente 0--Brent Barnes scored two first-half goals and Zach Mikelson recorded his eighth shutout for the host Cougars (16-3-5, 3-0-2), who have allowed just one goal in five league games. Jared Bentley made four saves for San Clemente (3-8-7, 0-4-2).

El Toro 1, Trabuco Hills 0--Doug Franco scored an unassisted goal in the fifth minute for visiting El Toro (9-8-2, 2-3-1). Charger goalie Todd Jones made one save to get the shutout.
