Medical Resources OKs Merger With Emergent

Medical Resources Management Inc. of Glendale has agreed to a merger with Emergent Group Inc.

Under terms of the agreement, each share of Medical Resources Management’s outstanding common stock will be exchanged for 0.37 shares of Emergent Group stock. Medical Resources Management will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Emergent Group.

Emergent Group Inc. is a New York-based merchant banking company.

Medical Resources Management provides medical equipment and services to health care facilities in the Western U.S.
