Holy cow! After spending a fortune on Web-ordered steaks (“Netsteak,” June 27) couldn’t you have thrown in a couple that were locally bought from high-end markets, such as Bristol Farms?

In my opinion, you missed the greatest steak Web site of them all, https://www.omahasteaks.com, and as a Cornhusker, I may be more than a little partial. You will not find a better steak anywhere!

In your story you say that choice beef is “the usual supermarket grade.” That is not true. Today the supermarket beef standard is select, which is quite lean and quite tough. To buy choice beef, customers must seek out Bristol Farms, Gelson’s, Pavilions or other niche outlets.
