The Olbermann Touch

Share

The article on Keith Olbermann was far too kind (“What Team Will Take Him?” by Paul Brownfield, June 17). It downplayed his arrogance.

This clown makes millions and lives in hotels, yet somehow we should feel sorry that Fox got rid of him. I wish Brownfield told the real Olbermann story, of a jerk whose career was founded on nepotism, burning bridges and a constant I-am-so-much-better-than-you smirk. This is the same man who couldn’t get a job in L.A. but luckily went to college with someone who got him a job at ESPN. He has been mugging for the camera on a national level ever since. His unemployment is karma; he should take his money and disappear.

I knew my beloved Dodgers were in trouble when Fox hired him in 1998 because it has used that same bad judgment with baseball decisions. But forget about that Fox contract, the KO Kid needs to worry about when the contract he signed with the devil runs out and everyone realizes just what a fraud he is.
