Radio--KWKU (1220).

Records--Sparks 14-3, Starzz 7-8.

Record vs. Starzz--1-0.

Update--A lot has happened since the Sparks beat the Starzz eight days ago at Staples Center. Utah coach Fred Williams resigned July 6 and was replaced by assistant Candi Harvey. The Starzz have gone 2-0 under Harvey, including Sunday’s 65-63 win over Portland in which forwards Natalie Williams and Margo Dydek combined for 28 points and 22 rebounds. The Sparks, who opened the season with nine consecutive wins, are currently riding a five-game winning streak. But their last trip was poor, at 1-3. This trip, which also has stops in Phoenix, Washington and--after the July 16th All-Star game--Sacramento, may be even more crucial, according to Lisa Leslie. “We feel good, but our biggest challenge will be going on this road trip,” said Leslie, who had a career-high 32 points and 13 rebounds in Sunday’s 100-95 overtime win against Minnesota. “We have to stay focused and play Sparks basketball the way we need to.”
