O.C. EARNINGS

UGS, a Cypress supplier of software and services for the manufacturing industry, reported that net income for the second quarter declined 26% to $8.8 million, or 24 cents a share, from $11.9 million, or 32 cents a share, for the comparable period last year. Revenue grew 11% to $142.7 million.

Lake Forest medical device maker I-Flow Corp. said net income for the second quarter increased 58% to $399,000, or 3 cents a share, from $252,000, or 2 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue rose 10% to $8.5 million.
