Benefit Scheduled for Damaged Arts Studio

The Ventura High School Arts Studio will hold a benefit to help raise money to rebuild its classroom, which was destroyed by a fire in June.
The Saturday fund-raiser will offer live music, dance performances, poetry readings, student film works and an art display. There also will be a silent auction, food and beverages.
The event will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Ventura City Hall atrium. Tickets are $10 general, $5 children ages 5 to 12 and free for children 4 or younger.
