17 Think Outside Box, Escape Brazil Prison
From Times Wire Reports
Seventeen inmates escaped from a Brazilian prison in Sao Paulo state after fooling a guard with a homemade cardboard handgun, Globo News television said.
The prisoners in the Amparo prison, about 60 miles north of the city of Sao Paulo, threatened the guard Friday with the cardboard gun as he delivered their meals. The cardboard came from the prison’s arts and crafts workshop, Globo said.
None of the prisoners had been recaptured.
