Gunshot Killed Pregnant Woman, Autopsy Shows
With conflicting witness accounts and no descriptions, Pomona police face a difficult task as they try to solve the Saturday slaying of a pregnant woman.
An autopsy Monday showed that Theresa Lollis, 21, died of a gunshot to the chest, Los Angeles County coroner’s spokesman Scott Carrier said.
Lollis was sitting in a car with a friend outside the home Lollis shared with her mother, grandmother and 2-year-old daughter when someone approached and opened fire, Pomona Sgt. Joann Crabb said.
Police don’t know whether the shooter was on foot or in a car.
