Lone Woman Robs Bank and Escapes With Cash
A lone female bank robber held up a Wells Fargo branch in this Santa Barbara suburb Saturday morning, escaping with an undisclosed amount of money, authorities said.
Shortly before 10 a.m., the woman handed a teller a note demanding money. She placed the money into a dark bag or backpack and left, Santa Barbara sheriff’s deputies said.
Witnesses said the robber appeared to be in her 30s, about 5-foot-6 and weighing about 130 pounds. She wore her “dirty” blond hair in a ponytail.
