It begins in Montreux and includes views of vineyards, with stops in Gruyeres, known for its cheese of the same name, and Broc, where the chocolate factory of Cailler-Nestle is located. You must have a rail pass to take the tour; the fare is $19 above the rail-pass cost. Reservations are required. Contact Rail Europe, tel. (888) 382-7245, https://www.raileurope.com.
