Huntington Man Held, 2 Sought in Robbery

A Huntington Beach man was arrested and two other people were being sought following a home-invasion robbery here Sunday morning, police said.

Three men entered a home in the 13900 block of Bush Street about 11:45 p.m. Saturday and waited for the residents to return, police said. Just after midnight, two men and two women arrived and were attacked, bound and robbed, police said. Two of the victims were beaten and one was stabbed in the leg, police said.

Police said a fifth person who arrived with the victims remained outside and used a cell phone to call police. Officers arrived as the suspects were fleeing, and one was detained. Police identified him as Khanh Quoc Tran, 36, who was arrested on suspicion of robbery, kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon.
