Fatal Shooting of Man Might Be Gang-Related
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
A Panorama City man was killed Saturday morning in a shooting that may have been gang-related, Los Angeles police said.
Eric Delgado, 18, was shot in the upper torso at 12:30 a.m., LAPD spokesman Guillermo Campos said. Delgado’s cousin Leslie Castrejon said he was not a gang member.
Residents said gang members shot Delgado as he was standing in front of a building in the 7900 block of Willis Avenue.
Police are asking witnesses to call (818) 756-8343.
