* Jabil Circuit Inc., which builds electronic equipment for other companies, said fiscal third-quarter profit fell to $18.8 million, or 9 cents a share, from $38.2 million, or 21 cents, in the year-earlier quarter. Sales rose to $1.05 billion from $965.8 million.

The company expects fiscal fourth-quarter profit of 13 cents to 15 cents a share on sales of $950 million to $1.06 billion. It was expected to earn 19 cents.
