* Street Fair--Ventura’s 26th annual Fourth of July Street Fair will return to Main Street between First Street and Ventura Avenue. The event will begin with the popular Pushem-Pullem Parade at 10 a.m. The street fair features music and entertainment on several stages, food booths from more than 40 vendors, square-dancing, balloons and puppeteers. * Fireworks--The Rotary Club of Ventura and Ventura College will present its eighth annual July 4 fireworks display at the college. Gates will open at 5 p.m. for picnicking, live entertainment, strolling performers, contests, food and more. The fireworks display will commence at 9 p.m. Advance, $4-$6; at the gate, $5-$8. 642-2358.
* Cowboy Music--Ojai Festivals will present cowboy music group Riders in the Sky in concert July 4 at Libbey Bowl, downtown Ojai. Show time: 6 p.m. $5-$15. 646-2053.
* Ballet--The Conejo Civic Ballet and Ballet Arts will join to present “The Ill Guarded Girl” at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza’s Scherr Forum, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. Show times: June 29, 7:30 p.m.; June 30, 2:30 p.m. $12-$15. 495-7940.
