Procom Technology Inc.

The Irvine maker of data storage and access appliances reported a second-quarter net loss of $5.7 million, or 48 cents a share, which included a write-off of $4.3 million in costs related to an acquisition in December. A year ago, the company lost $2.7 million, or 24 cents a share. Sales for the quarter ended Jan. 31 dropped 27% to $11.9 million.
