Share

Blue Cross of California, an operating subsidiary of WellPoint Health Networks in Thousand Oaks, has signed a multiyear contract with the Sutter Health network of hospitals and doctors.

The contract is retroactive to Jan. 1, when the previous pact ended.

The new agreement allows Blue Cross of California members access to all of Sutter Health’s 26 Northern California hospitals and to physicians affiliated with Sutter medical foundations.

The contract with Sutter covers all Blue Cross HMO and PPO members, according to the benefit coverage they currently have in place.
